This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — the drive itself is not included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or repair of compatible hard drives. Important: most hard drive circuit boards store unique information in a ROM “memory” chip that is required for the drive to function properly. That ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical transfer of the ROM chip is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant.
