This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the physical hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of these PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photos. Intended use: data recovery or HDD repair. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB swap will address your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many drive PCBs store unique drive-specific data on a ROM memory chip; that information is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician should be able to move the chip. We provide a complimentary adaptation service (ROM chip transfer or reprogramming of the replacement PCB) for orders of $60 or more.
