This listing is for a replacement hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Because we stock a large number of these boards, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is required for normal drive operation. That ROM chip — or its contents — must be moved to or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
