This listing is for a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery or hard drive repair. Most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself, or its contents, must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If physically transferring the chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the swap.
