This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY — no hard drive is included. Due to our large inventory, the exact circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will resolve your issue by consulting the hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be moved to the replacement board; when possible a local computer technician can perform the chip transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either relocating the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
