This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and HDD repair. Most PCBs carry unique data in a ROM 'memory' chip that is required for proper drive operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually transplant the chip.
