This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is not included. Compatible with WD10JMVW-59AJGS3 and 771761-101 AG (WD USB 2.5) models. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive PCBs include unique information stored in the ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers with orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
