This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock large quantities, so the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is intended for HDD repair and data recovery tasks. Before ordering, please confirm compatibility by using our Donor Matching Guide and follow the hard drive diagnostics guide to determine whether a replacement PCB will resolve your issue. Most PCBs contain unique ROM "memory" data that is required for correct drive operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If possible, a local computer technician can move the ROM chip for you. For customers spending $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
