This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the exact board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: HDD repair and data recovery. Before ordering, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs store unique configuration in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM data. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the task. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the board with the proper ROM data.
