This sale includes only the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) — the hard drive itself is NOT included. We keep a large inventory of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for use in hard drive repair and data-recovery situations, this WD10EZRX-00D8PB0 / 771945-202 AB SATA 3.5" PCB must be matched correctly to your drive to work. Important: most hard drive PCBs include a unique ROM "memory" chip that holds mandatory configuration data. That ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to operate properly. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
