This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the drive itself is NOT included. Inventory is large, so the actual PCB shipped may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before buying, confirm that a replacement PCB will address your problem by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many hard drive PCBs contain unique ROM memory that stores essential drive parameters required for normal operation. That ROM chip or its data must be moved or copied to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant; alternatively the ROM data can be reprogrammed onto the new PCB. For purchases of $60 or more we include complimentary adaptation service — either moving the ROM chip to the replacement PCB or reprogramming the board with the correct ROM data.
