Item is the hard drive circuit board (PCB / Logic board) only — the drive itself is NOT included. We maintain a large inventory, so the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This board is intended for HDD repair and data-recovery use. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will address your problem by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCBs include a unique ROM "memory" chip that contains essential drive parameters; that ROM data must be transferred to or reproduced on the replacement board for proper operation. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
