This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. We stock a large number of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for HDD repair and data-recovery use. Before purchasing, confirm compatibility by running our hard drive diagnostics guide and consulting the Donor Matching Guide to ensure this replacement will work for your drive. Note: many hard drive PCBs contain unique parameters stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be moved to, or programmed onto, the replacement board. If the chip can be physically transferred, a local computer technician can usually perform the task. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that will either transfer the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogram the board with the correct ROM data.
