This listing is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) only — the HDD is not included. Because we stock many PCBs, the actual board delivered may vary slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Important technical note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be moved to the replacement board or the new board must be reprogrammed with the correct ROM data. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can typically handle it.
