This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only. No hard drive is included. Because we have a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and HDD repair. Before purchasing, confirm that swapping the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Verify compatibility by consulting the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper operation. The ROM chip—or its data—must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be relocated, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
