This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Suitable for data recovery and HDD repair tasks. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and ensure compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs store essential calibration/firmware data in a ROM "memory" chip; that information is required for correct drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
