This sale includes the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of replacement PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide to ensure this board is a suitable match for your drive. Important: many hard drive PCBs store unique parameters in a ROM memory chip that is required for normal operation. The ROM contents must be transferred to the replacement board (or the ROM chip physically moved) for the drive to function correctly. If transferring the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the procedure. We offer a complimentary adaptation service for orders of $60 or more. This service includes either relocating the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
