This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Inventory is large, so the actual PCB shipped may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility via the Donor Matching Guide. Many PCB assemblies contain unique configuration data stored in an onboard ROM ("memory") chip; that information is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip itself, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
