This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we carry a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for data recovery and hard drive repair tasks. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by using our hard drive diagnostics guide and check compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly and must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
