This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive itself is NOT included. We maintain a large inventory of these PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for drive repair or data recovery work. Most of these circuit boards store unique configuration data in a ROM chip; that data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board — if the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform that task.
