This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included! We have a large quantity of PCBs in stock, so the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and HDD repair. Before buying, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM "memory" chip — this information is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is feasible, a local computer technician can typically perform the procedure. For customers whose order totals $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
