This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is intended for HDD repair and data recovery work. Most Western Digital PCBs contain a ROM memory chip that stores drive-specific data required for correct operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant.
