This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. We carry a large inventory of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the pictured item. Intended uses: hard drive repair and data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm that a PCB swap will address your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for proper operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred or reprogrammed onto the replacement board. If physically moving the chip is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the swap. For orders of $60 or more we provide complimentary adaptation service, which includes either transferring the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement with the correct ROM data.
