This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard disk is NOT included. We maintain a large inventory, so the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These circuit boards are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before ordering, confirm that a PCB replacement will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and check compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCBs include a unique ROM 'memory' chip containing essential data required for proper drive operation; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For purchases of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprograms the replacement with the correct ROM data.
