This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — the hard drive is NOT included. We maintain a large inventory of PCBs, so the actual board shipped may vary slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Please check our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm a PCB replacement will address your issue, and use the Donor Matching Guide to ensure compatibility. Many hard drive PCBs contain unique data stored in a ROM memory chip that is essential for normal operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot move the ROM chip yourself, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either relocates the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
