This sale includes the hard drive PCB / logic board only — the hard drive is NOT included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repairs. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive circuit boards hold unique system data in a ROM (memory) chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For customer orders of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either moves the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
