This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the pictured example. The board is supplied for use in hard drive repair and data recovery scenarios. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many replacement PCBs have unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function correctly; the ROM contents must be transferred or copied to the new board. If you cannot move the ROM chip yourself, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transplant. We offer a complimentary adaptation service for orders of $60 or more — this service includes either transferring the ROM chip to the replacement board or reprogramming the new PCB with the correct ROM data.
