This sale is for the hard drive PCB (logic board) only — NO hard drive is included. The PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo due to our large stock. Intended use: hard drive repair or data recovery. Before purchasing, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive circuit boards contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If transplanting the chip is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the work. For orders of $60 or more we provide complimentary adaptation service, which covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
