Item is for the hard drive PCB / logic board ONLY. No hard drive is included. Because we maintain a large stock of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and checking compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive circuit boards store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board — if the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
