This sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we have a large inventory, the PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive circuit boards store unique information in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for proper drive operation. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
