This sale is for the hard drive circuit board / logic board (PCB) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We carry a large quantity of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform the transfer. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
