Because we have a large inventory, the exact printed circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Note: most hard drive PCBs contain unique configuration data stored in a ROM memory chip; that information is required for proper drive operation and must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can typically perform the transplant; alternatively, the ROM data can be reprogrammed onto the new board.
