This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive itself is not included. Because we have a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. To confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue, follow our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most drive PCBs hold unique data in a ROM memory chip that is required for correct operation. The ROM chip, or its contents, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service that covers either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
