This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we have a large quantity of PCBs in stock, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photograph. The PCB is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most hard drive circuit boards contain unique information stored in a ROM memory chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board; if the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician should be able to perform that transfer. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the new board with the correct ROM data.
