This sale is for the hard drive PCB / logic board only — NO hard drive is included. The board fits WD5000AAKS-08A7B2 (2061-701590-L01 04P) models. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, verify that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most PCB units contain device-specific information stored in a ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function properly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be transplanted, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
