This listing is for the hard drive circuit board only (PCB / logic board). No hard drive is included. Because we have many similar PCBs in stock, the circuit board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: many PCBs store unique information in the ROM memory chip which is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If you cannot perform this yourself, a local computer technician can usually move the chip. For customers who spend $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
