This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive or drive components are included. Because we carry a large inventory of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended use: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before purchasing, confirm whether a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify part compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most hard drive PCBs contain unique information stored in the ROM "memory" chip; that data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip itself, or its stored data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer. For orders of $60 or more we include complimentary adaptation service, which covers either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
