This listing includes only the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board). The hard drive itself is NOT included. We stock large quantities of PCBs, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are sold for hard drive repair and data recovery purposes. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement board will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide. Also verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many hard drive PCBs contain a unique ROM "memory" chip that stores essential information required for normal drive operation. That ROM chip, or its data, must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved to the new PCB, a local computer technician can usually perform the swap. For customers with orders of $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the replacement PCB or reprograms the new board with the correct ROM data.
