This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY. No hard drive is included! Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. These PCBs are intended for hard drive repair and data recovery tasks. Before purchasing, use our hard drive diagnostics guide to confirm a replacement board will resolve your issue, and consult the Donor Matching Guide to verify compatibility. Many hard drive circuit boards contain a unique ROM "memory" chip that holds vital information required for normal drive operation; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. When physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the move. For customers with orders of $60 or more we provide a complimentary adaptation service, which includes either transplanting the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
