This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the drive itself is not included. Compatible with WD2500AAKX-753CA1 and 2061-771640-S13 AC (WD SATA 3.5). Because we keep a large inventory, the actual PCB shipped may differ slightly from the photo. Purpose: intended for hard drive repair or data recovery work. Important: most drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM memory chip that is required for proper operation. That chip — or its data — must be moved to or copied onto the replacement board. If you cannot transfer the ROM yourself, a local computer technician can usually perform the chip transplant.
