This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. We carry a large quantity of PCBs, so the actual board you receive may vary slightly from the photo. The board is intended for HDD repair and data recovery tasks. Before purchasing, confirm compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide and follow our hard drive diagnostics guide to verify whether replacing the PCB will resolve your problem. Most hard drive PCBs contain a unique ROM (memory) chip that stores essential drive information required for proper operation. That ROM chip or its data must be transferred or programmed onto the replacement board. If you cannot perform the transfer yourself, a local computer technician can typically move the chip. For purchases of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service, which covers either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
