Sale includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock large quantities, the actual PCB you receive may vary slightly from the photo. This board is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery projects. Before buying, confirm a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Many drive PCBs contain a unique ROM memory chip holding essential configuration data; that ROM (or its contents) must be moved or written to the replacement board for proper operation. If transferring the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers spending $60 or more, we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprograms the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
