This listing is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — the hard drive is not included. Because we have a large inventory, the exact PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. The board is sold for use in hard drive repair and data recovery projects. Most WD PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM or its data must be transferred to the replacement board for the drive to function correctly.
