This sale includes ONLY a hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board). No hard drive or other components are provided. The PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery projects. We hold a large inventory, so the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Before purchasing, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your drive’s issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most drive PCBs store unique drive-specific data in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for correct operation. That ROM—or its contents—must be transferred to the replacement board. If the ROM chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service: we will either transplant the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogram the board with the proper ROM data.
