This sale is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the exact board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended uses: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that a replacement PCB will resolve your issue by consulting our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Note: most hard drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM "memory" chip; that ROM data is required for the drive to function correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If transferring the chip is feasible, a local computer technician can usually perform the transplant. For customers with purchases of $60 or more, we provide a complimentary adaptation service that includes either moving the ROM chip to the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the proper ROM data.
