This listing is for the hard drive printed circuit board (PCB / logic board) only — no hard drive is included. Due to a large inventory, the actual PCB you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is intended for use in hard drive repair or data recovery scenarios. Many drive PCBs store unique configuration data in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to function correctly. That ROM chip or its data must be migrated to the replacement board. If the chip can be physically moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
