This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. We stock a large number of PCBs, so the board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Designed for HDD repair and data recovery use. Before purchasing, verify that a PCB replacement will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide, and confirm part compatibility with the Donor Matching Guide. Most replacement boards contain unique ROM data that is required for correct drive operation; the ROM chip or its contents must be moved or reprogrammed onto the new PCB. If chip transplantation is possible, a local computer technician can usually perform the work. For orders of $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service that either transfers the ROM chip to the replacement PCB or programs the correct ROM data onto the new board.
