This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive included. Because we stock a large number of PCBs, the specific board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. Intended uses: data recovery and hard drive repair. Before ordering, confirm that replacing the PCB will resolve your issue by following our Hard Drive Diagnostics Guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Important: most HDD PCBs contain unique information stored in a ROM (memory) chip that is required for the drive to operate correctly. The ROM chip or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board; when possible, a local computer technician can transplant the chip. For customers spending $60 or more we include a complimentary adaptation service — either relocating the ROM chip onto the new PCB or reprogramming the replacement board with the correct ROM data.
