This listing includes the hard drive circuit board (PCB, Logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is provided. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board you receive may differ slightly from the photo. This PCB is meant for hard drive repair or data recovery use. Most HDD circuit boards hold unique data in the ROM "memory" chip that is required for the drive to function correctly; the ROM chip or its data must be transferred to the replacement board. If the chip can be moved, a local computer technician can usually perform the transfer.
