This sale is for the hard drive circuit board (PCB / logic board) ONLY — no hard drive is included. Because we stock a large quantity of PCBs, the actual board shipped may vary slightly from the photo. The board is intended for hard drive repair and data recovery work. Before purchasing, confirm a PCB swap will resolve your issue by following our hard drive diagnostics guide and verify compatibility using the Donor Matching Guide. Most WD PCBs contain essential ROM "memory" data that is required for correct drive operation; that ROM or its contents must be transferred to the replacement board. If physical chip transfer is possible, a local computer technician can typically perform the move.
